A French Breakfast in Belmont Shore: Omelets, Quiche and Croissants
Blog / Published October 3, 2026 by La Creperie Cafe

Breakfast at La Creperie Cafe runs until 3pm, which makes it as much a late morning meal as an early one. Many neighbors in Belmont Shore treat it as a slow weekend brunch. Alongside our crepes and waffles, the menu has a set of French and California breakfast plates that deserve their own introduction.
Three-egg omelets
Every omelet is made with three large eggs and melted jack and cheddar cheese. Each comes with potato persillade, which is diced potato tossed with garlic and parsley, plus fresh seasonal fruit and your choice of wheat or sourdough toast.
The Belmont is named after our neighborhood and is filled with spinach, mushroom, tomato, feta, and ricotta. Dora's Delight brings Jambon de Paris, mushrooms, and caramelized onion. The Californian adds tomato, green chilies, and avocado with salsa and sour cream. Le Saumon is the richest of the four, with smoked and fresh salmon, cream cheese, capers, tomato, onion, and dill.
Quiche Lorraine
Our Quiche Lorraine is a tart made with bacon, herbes de Provence, and emmenthal cheese. It is served with garlic fries and a garden salad, so it works just as well for an early lunch as for breakfast.
The croissant sandwich
A buttery croissant is filled with eggs and your choice of cheddar jack or emmental cheese, plus ham, bacon, or sausage. Like the omelets, it comes with potato persillade and seasonal fruit. It is a good choice when you want something familiar with a French touch.
Coffee and sides
Most guests add a coffee or cappuccino to their breakfast. Sides such as a plain croissant, an extra portion of potatoes persillade, or toast are available if you want to build a lighter plate or share with the table.
